UPSC Preparation Tips

UPSC Preparation Tips

I began my civil services preparation in 2022 and spent 1.5 years completing the syllabus. I enrolled in Drishti IAS and appeared for the prelims in 2024, but unfortunately, I couldn't clear it. I'm now preparing again. During my preparation, I met many students who are self-studying for UPSC.

Here, I'm sharing a list of all the important topics from my notes and the books I read. Create a notebook for each subject and jot down these topics. Use the books and other materials you prefer, but focus only on these areas. The syllabus is like a ocean, but we only need a bucket of water from this ocean. Keep your resources limited and revise them daily.

In set theory, we focused on three Venn diagram problems. In the context of relations, we discussed the concepts of reflexive, symmetric, transitive, and equivalence relations.
