Laptop Requirements for Students
Hardware Requirements
- RAM Size: Minimum 8 GB (installing more memory is desirable)
- Processor: Intel 8th Generation or AMD 4th Generation or higher (latest processor recommended)
- Storage: Minimum 500 GB (1 TB is desirable, SSD storage is preferred)
- Screen Size and Resolution: Minimum 13” for laptops and 15” for desktops with 1080p resolution
- Webcam, Mic, and Speaker/Headphone with Mic: Essential for live classes
Additional Requirements for Live Classes
- Earphones: Compulsory
- Tripod Stand: For proctor exams
- Camera: For proctor exams
- Mobile Phone: To connect with peer groups, clubs, and communities.
Software/Applications
- Operating System: Minimum Windows 10 or Ubuntu LTS Version 20.04 (or equivalent)
- Browser: Latest version of Chrome with Google Account signed in
