We are students pursuing a BS degree at IIT Madras and have an unofficial WhatsApp group with over 1200 members. These community tournaments are not officially affiliated with IIT Madras; they are our group's initiative to foster connections among members. Our first chess tournament was a great success, and we plan to host more such events to make our online learning journey more enjoyable and engaging. These tournaments will also help us get to know each other better and collaborate on our studies.
